Kyle loves telling stories through video and knows what it takes both upfront and behind the scenes to go the extra mile for our clients. An FAA-certified drone pilot and an expert in postproduction color and sound editing, Kyle’s goal is to always deliver an amazing final product that sways audiences and exceeds expectations. With a breadth of experience in corporate, social and web video, he’ll be a valuable addition to your projects.
What is your professional background?
I graduated from the University of Northern Iowa in 2017 with a double major in digital media production and digital media leadership with a minor in marketing. I started working at a video production company in Cedar Falls in 2017 then moved back to my hometown of Des Moines in late 2018. I briefly worked at a small marketing agency before getting hired at Trilix in 2019.
If you didn’t work in this industry, what career path would you choose?
I’d probably be a flight attendant due to my love of travel or a DNR agent because I’m passionate about the outdoors.
If you could go anywhere in the world, where would you go?
I would visit Italy to go see the Dolomites. There’s something about being in the mountains that gives me a weird energy that I’ve never felt anywhere else in my life.
