Jon doesn’t want just to earn your business; he wants to develop a long-term partnership where both client and agency trust each other to do their best work.

What is your professional background? 

I graduated from Iowa State and sold advertising for a few years before beginning my agency career as a media planner/buyer at Thomas C. Porter and Associates, which was acquired by Direct Advantage, Inc., in 2004 to form Trilix. After a few years, I moved to another agency and was there for 17 years. I came back to Trilix in 2018.

What is your favorite aspect of your job?

I enjoy the amount of autonomy and flexibility I have as well as the relationships I’m able to build outside of the building since my role allows me to meet many different people in a variety of settings.

If you could learn any skill, what would it be?

I wish I was artistic and could be a designer.
