He has a great understanding of traditional and digital marketing tactics — and how specific media approaches can help clients reach specific goals. Cory’s passion drives him to build strong relationships with media vendors to ensure his clients’ dollars are invested as efficiently and effectively as possible.

What is your professional background?

In the spring of 2020, I graduated from Iowa State University with a bachelor’s degree in marketing. After graduation, I moved to the Oklahoma City area where I was a part of the marketing team at a multi-purpose arena and event venue. I was then fortunate to find a job at Trilix and relocate to Des Moines, and the rest is history.

How do you spend your time outside of work? Any hobbies?

I enjoy doing anything outdoors. I like fishing, snowmobiling, running and biking, but my favorite outdoor activity is slalom waterskiing. On calm summer mornings, you can find me slalom waterskiing as early as 6 a.m. on Lake Okoboji with my dad. I’ve recently added woodworking to my list of hobbies and have had a lot of fun with it.

What motivates you at work?

I enjoy our reporting process because it allows me to see how much our work and insight has helped our clients reach their goals. I’m always reminded that the clients entrusted us with executing their marketing campaigns, so we want to bring them the best possible results.
