Trilix recently attended the American Advertising Awards competition, conducted annually by the local chapter of the American Advertising Federation. Though the competition was fierce, we managed to capture not just one but two Silver awards: one for our amazingly amusing Iowa State Fair print campaign and another for our sugary sweet summer mailer.
The Fair print ad campaign promoted 2014’s Amazingly Amusing theme. The playful imagery and headlines highlighted the main Fair attractions — animals, food, music and the Fair itself. The ringmaster in the ads celebrated all of the amazing things to see and amusing things to do at the Fair.
The Trilix summer mailer featured a lemonade kit, which included a Trilix-branded cutting board, a knife, six lemonade recipes, straws, napkins and an envelope containing Iowa State Fair tickets.
The team had fun working on both projects and will create both a new Fair print ad campaign and a summer mailer this year — stay tuned to see our latest work!
