Trilix Thanksgiving Traditions

With Thanksgiving only two days away, we asked Trilix employees what their favorite Thanksgiving traditions are. Spending time with family, eating good food and watching favorite sports teams seem to be common threads between all employees! Take a look below for some of our employees’ favorite traditions.

PR/Communications

Megan: The whole family plays board games after dinner.

Courtney: We love playing card games after dinner.

Haley: We spend Thanksgiving with our neighbors and always end the night playing Balderdash while wearing funny hats.

Tucker: I eat turkey!

Jana: We watch the Nebraska Huskers play on the Friday after Thanksgiving.

Lindsey: My family is uncomfortably full all day.

Abby: We make a beer-basted turkey on the grill and spend the next day putting Christmas decorations up.

Account Management

Todd: My mom makes all the families write a Thanksgiving limerick, and then we have to read it at dinner. It’s really weird.

Alex: Voraciously mealing ham and turkey with the family.

Janelle: My family spends a full day eating and watching football!

Jason: My brothers and I cook the appetizers, drink a few beers and watch football before we eat as a family. After dinner we watch a Christmas-themed movie.

Kristin: We spend Thanksgiving with my dad’s family, eat lots of food and watch football!

Abe: Thanksgiving was the only time I saw my parents drink. They split a can of beer!

Media

Josh:  My family watches the Macy’s Day Parade and looks for our favorite floats!

Alyssa: My grandpa cuts the turkey, and my grandma bakes two or three homemade pies, which everyone loves and appreciates.
