Trilix Team Attends Jack Trout Lecture on Brand Differentiation

This morning, members of the Trilix team had the pleasure of learning from marketing pioneer and best selling author Jack Trout during an event hosted at the Holiday Inn Airport & Conference Center in Des Moines.

This workshop and lecture, titled “Differentiate or Die: Surviving in the Era of Killer Competition” addressed how to differentiate your company from the competition and included examples of organizations that have successfully done so. Trout also spoke on the importance of brand names and how to keep key messaging short and concise.

Trout is recognized as one of the world's foremost marketing strategists. Instrumental in developing the vital approach to marketing known as "positioning," Jack Trout is responsible for some of the freshest ideas to be introduced into marketing thinking in the last decade.

He has over 40 years of experience in advertising and marketing, and became a boardroom advisor to some of the world's largest corporations. Jack Trout has gained an international reputation as a consultant, writer, speaker and proponent of leading-edge marketing strategies.
