Trilix Takes Gold at AAF of Des Moines’ 2016 ADDY Awards

On Saturday, February 20, Trilix received two Gold ADDY awards at AAF of Des Moines’ 2016 American Advertising Awards held at Renaissance Des Moines Savory Hotel. The year’s theme was “Locally Brewed.” Trilix won both ADDYs for work done with client Templeton Rye.

The first Gold ADDY was awarded for video work. The Trilix video team went to Templeton, Iowa, for two days in early June 2015. Their goal was to tell the story of Templeton Rye whiskey and to capture historic stories of Templeton’s bootlegging days. The video was created to share the spirit of the town and the people of Templeton, all of which make up the history and pride in Templeton Rye, the whiskey.

Trilix’s second Gold ADDY was for the Templeton Rye website launched last August. The Trilix interactive and creative teams collaborated to create the perfect digital presence for “The Good Stuff” — featuring the unique story of Templeton, Iowa, the Bootleggers Society, events, tours, news and more.

The National American Advertising Awards Program is the industry’s largest and most representative creative competition. The American Advertising Awards recognizes creative excellence in a three-tier competition. Entries are first judged at the local level. Winners from the local level advance to the second level, where they participate in one of 15 district competitions.  District winners then move to the third and last round of judging — the national finals.
