The Trilix PR team has expanded again with the recent addition of Communications Manager Abby Bottenfield. Abby, a University of Minnesota, Twin Cities grad, brings years of experience from as far away as Washington, D.C. Abby has held different communications positions throughout her career, including roles as a constituent caseworker for a U.S. senator, a legislative management officer for Senate affairs at the U.S. Department of State, and most recently, a media relations representative for MidAmerican Energy.
Abby’s interests not only include writing and proofing, but also snuggling with her children, challenging her husband to Wii golf tournaments, watching Minnesota Gopher football and last but not least, Chipotle.
We sat down with Abby to find out more about her, including her favorite meal of the day, her dream car and her most interesting choice for a Halloween costume.
What is your favorite season and why?
Fall. I love college football and chili season!
If you could only drink one thing (other than water) for the rest of your life, what would it be?
In your opinion, what's the best meal of the day? Breakfast, lunch or dinner?
I would choose dinner because that’s the one meal my family can eat together every day of the week.
What kind of car did you wish you had when you were a kid? What about now?
A pink convertible like Barbie. My dream car now would be a cherry-red Range Rover.
What is the strangest Halloween costume you've ever worn?
One year I went as a lamp; I dressed up in all gold and put a lampshade on my head with a flashlight taped inside of it so I would glow.
