Trilix is honored to be nominated for a 2018 Upper Midwest Emmy Award. Trilix’s video, Cultivation: Writing and Wrestling in Iowa City, was created for the Iowa City/Coralville Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, which is the area’s official destination management organization.
The Emmy Awards focus on excellence in video and television by honoring exceptional and creative work. There were close to 950 entries this year, and Trilix is one of two finalists for the Documentary — Cultural category, which is a great honor in itself.
This year’s winners will be announced at the 19th Annual Upper Midwest Regional Emmy Awards Gala on October 6th, 2018, at the Radisson Blu Hotel in Bloomington, Minnesota. The Upper Midwest Emmy Awards was founded in 2005 and is a chapter of The National Academy of Television Arts & Sciences. The Emmy Awards recognizes many disciplines of television, including news, sports, documentary programming, and individual talent.
The Emmy nomination is another great recognition for our video team who recently received five 2018 Telly Awards. Congratulations to all involved!
