Meet our newest addition to the Trilix team — Senior Interactive Designer Mike Kang. Mike holds a Bachelor of Science in Marketing and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Design: Visual Communication from Northern Illinois University and a Master of Arts in Graphic Design from Iowa State University. On top of those achievements, he’s currently pursuing a Master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design.
Mike first became interested in web development through GeoCities and 90s-era peer pressure. He taught himself the art by playing around as well as studying and reading a lot about the career. As he grew his skill set and education, Mike began freelancing and working with other studios and agencies. If he didn’t work in web development, Mike said he’d pursue a career in branding and digital or print design, and if those didn’t pan out — bounty hunting!
