Michael Lammers recently joined the Trilix Business Management team as an accountant. Bringing experience from Wells Fargo Home Mortgage and the Iowa Department of Education, Michael will be a phenomenal asset to the office. He grew up in Des Moines and went to AIB College of Business, where he graduated with an accounting/microcomputer degree.
We sat down with Michael to learn more about his hobbies, favorite songs and more. Read on.
What is your favorite thing about Des Moines? There are so many great things. I can't choose one. The Downtown Farmers' Market. The East Village. Court Avenue. Being able to get anywhere in 20 minutes.
What's one food you just can't eat? Cucumbers
What songs would be included on the soundtrack to your life? Upside Down by Jack Johnson; You Get What You Give by New Radicals; I Won't Back Down by Tom Petty; No Shoes, No Shirt, No Problems by Kenny Chesney; and Home by Blue October.
If you could live in a book, TV show or movie, what would it be? 50 First Dates. It's so corny, but I watch it every time it's on. It would be fun to have to try and make my wife re-fall for me every day. And it's based in Hawaii.
If you had to choose to live without one of your five senses, which would you give up? Hearing. I could still learn sign language to communicate.
Tell us a random fun fact about you that others may not know. I was born with six extra teeth. I was in a medical journal about it.
