Trilix Heads to Tampa for IAFP's Annual Meeting

Long-standing Trilix client International Association for Food Protection (IAFP) provides more than 4,000 food safety professionals worldwide a forum to exchange information on protecting the global food supply. Throughout our partnership, Trilix has helped IAFP with a large number of projects, such as monthly publications and newsletters, a new website, trade show collateral and equipment, social media services and much more. That’s why when IAFP came to us looking to add something to their IAFP 2017 Annual Meeting, we were thrilled to introduce and offer our in-house video and photo services to them.

The IAFP Annual Meeting takes place at a different location in North America each year, and this year’s event brought the Association to Tampa, Florida. More than 3,600 of their worldwide members attend this annual event. With social, mobile and video booming, we knew these services would be a perfect addition to the event, which already includes educational sessions, workshops, award ceremonies, networking opportunities and more, to engage their audience and help tell their story even after the event concludes.

To do this, Trilix sent members of our video/photo crew (Chad, James and Chris) and social media manager (Megan) to Florida to capture the action live from the Tampa Convention Center. While there, the crew set up an interview room to hear from students, members, exhibitors, sponsors, IAFP staff and more. The team also attended IAFP Annual Meeting events to acquire event footage and b-roll coverage. And of course, no event would be complete without exploring the city for time-lapse footage and photography coverage.

Over the course of six days, the Trilix team captured enough footage to provide IAFP with more than a year’s worth of social media and website content. This included a three-minute recap video of the event, which was shown at their awards ceremony (a one-day edit turnaround), as well as enough footage to create six more videos (3–5 minutes) for future website, social media and collateral use, 10+ social media clips and time-lapses, countless images for future social media posts and much more.
