It’s an annual tradition for Trilix employees to cook their favorite soup recipes, get out their slow cookers and enter the Trilix Soup Cook-Off. This year was no different. As the soups warmed up, so did the competition. Chicken enchilada, buffalo chicken chili, white chili, Italian sausage, Thai curry, “Greater than Olive Garden” zuppa tuscana and lobster bisque were fierce competitors, but only one soup could earn the top prize.
After the Trilix crew sampled each entry — and had seconds and thirds — one soup was crowned victorious. Each Trilix employee could vote for one soup only, and Associate Creative Director Paul Burger’s Thai curry soup beat out Communications Manager Abby Bottenfield’s chicken enchilada soup by one vote. Paul gets to display the coveted Soup Cook-Off traveling trophy, a soup-bowl trophy that collects items from each year’s winner. We can’t wait to see what ingredient Paul adds for next year’s winner!
