Trilix is a proud partner of The Des Moines Concours d’Elegance™, a premier automotive exhibition held every September in downtown Des Moines. The Concours exhibition features more than 150 vintage and classic motor vehicles, selected to celebrate the fine art, design evolution and amazing innovations of motor vehicles through the years, as well as the talented designers and engineers who created them.
As a partner, we helped the Concours brand become more cohesive and modern. To do so, the Trilix creative and interactive teams developed a design approach across all materials to mirror the sophisticated art and design of the automobiles at the exhibition. We wanted a cohesive look that spanned the entire field — banners, programs, handouts, event staging and a new responsive website.
As part of the new website, the Concours wanted to feature their sponsors and partners. Our design incorporated a consistent footer that not only features the sponsors and partners but also highlights Children’s Cancer Connection, a nonprofit the Concours supports by donating some of the event’s proceeds to the organization. The wing design element used on the website homepage and collateral materials design plays off the Concours logo and was the catalyst for a consistent design element across pieces. Another great addition to the website is a section that allows Concours to feature each exhibitor’s car(s).
