Video production is Chad’s specialty, from initial concept to the final edit. He ensures the video department at Trilix runs smoothly, whether he’s behind the camera, editing a final cut, creating visual graphics or more. Chad helps client video projects come to life by coordinating the large ideas behind video production, understanding which equipment to use to see the intended results and noticing the small details that help clients tell their stories. Always a team player, Chad works with the video, creative and communications departments to align client goals and expectations.
What is your professional background?
In college, I proactively sought an internship with a local video production company, where I honed my skills as a computer animator and graphic artist. This experience ignited my true love for video production. I was fortunate to secure a role as a creative director and lead videographer for a DIY Network and HGTV how-to television show, allowing me to refine my abilities as both a video producer and an artist. I eventually embarked on a journey producing short-format wedding films in collaboration with a close friend, and our work quickly expanded to include commercial clients. As our reputation grew, we found ourselves in demand, and our partnership with Trilix deepened. I am now proud to be an integral part of Trilix's dynamic video team.
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite aspect of my role at Trilix is the creative freedom and the collaborative environment. At Trilix, we have the unique opportunity to engage with clients, contribute to building their brand and continually evolve as a department to benefit our clients' businesses. This dynamic and the ability to foster creativity and innovation are what I find most rewarding about my job.
What do you like to do in your free time?
During my free time, I cherish the opportunity to connect with my family and friends, indulge in the great outdoors through camping adventures, and make time for personal self-reflection and relaxation. I firmly believe in the significance of maintaining a healthy work-life balance, and I make an effort to achieve and savor it. In my leisure hours, you can often find me unwinding on the scenic coast of Costa Rica, savoring a refreshing beer on Anna Maria Island or delighting in the excitement of watching my children take the plunge down Splash Mountain at Disney World. These moments of leisure and exploration are essential for me to rejuvenate and appreciate life beyond the demands of work.
