Trilix Marketing Group Wins Clear Channel’s Outy Award

URBANDALE, Iowa – June 5, 2006 –A promotional billboard designed by Trilix Marketing Group was named the overall winner Thursday in Clear Channel Outdoor’s 4th Annual Outy Awards Self-Promo Billboard Design Challenge.

Trilix’s design entitled “Cut the Clutter” featured a white background with the word “Clutter” in black being cut by a large, three-dimensional knife.

The billboard promoting Trilix Marketing Group was designed by Trilix’s senior art director, Paul Burger. The winning design will be produced and displayed by Clear Channel Outdoor free for six months beginning July 1st, 2006.

Nine agencies from around the Des Moines metro were entered in the annual competition. All designs, including the winning entry, can be viewed at www.outyawards.com.

“It’s pretty cool when your agency wins something like this,” said Todd Senne, president of Trilix Marketing Group. “When you’re competing against the other agencies in Des Moines, it’s a huge honor to take first place. There is a vast amount of talent in this city and the competition is tough.”
