March Madness Takes Over Urbandale Marketing Agency

Urbandale, Iowa – March 10, 2006 – Call us crazy or maybe just a little bit “mad,” but we’re doing it again only this time, it’s all about the basketball. NCAA basketball, that is. Yes, it’s March Madness and the good folks at Trilix Marketing Group are asking the public to go a little mad themselves by participating in Trilix’s Bracket Racket 2006.

Bracket Racket 2006 is giving the wannabe ballers and office shot callers a chance at choosing who they think will take the crown in this year’s Men’s NCAA Basketball Tournament. Beginning Monday, participants can go to www.trilixgroup.com/bracketracket/ and complete their very own NCAA bracket with a chance to win an iPod Nano.

This is the first year for the Trilix Bracket Racket. The agency recently completed another successful Super Poll, which chooses the best ads of the Super Bowl, and expects the Bracket Racket to have the same enthusiastic response from basketball fans all over Central Iowa.

“March Madness is the highlight of the year for college basketball fans,” said Todd Senne, president and co-owner of Trilix Marketing Group. “We wanted to find a way to get the ‘every fan’ involved and the Bracket Racket was the perfect solution. It’s easy to fill out, we track your progress and it costs you nothing. What do you have to lose?”

Participants can begin completing their brackets on Monday, March 13 at noon. Brackets must be completed before the first game tips off on Thursday, March 16 at 10 a.m. The winner of the iPod Nano will be announced on Tuesday, April 4 after Monday’s final championship game.
