Budweiser Ad Takes the Trilix Super Poll 2006
“The Game” Proves to be a Fan Favorite

URBANDALE, Iowa – February 8, 2006 – Well, the results are in and it was unanimous – Budweiser came out the big winner in Trilix’s “Super Poll 2006.”

Budweiser’s commercial, “The Game” featuring a randy streaker masquerading as a naked sheep, took top honors while FedEx’s “Cavemen” and Ameriquest’s “Mile High Club” ads finished second and third, respectively. Pizza Hut’s ad featuring Jessica Simpson finished in last place overall.

There were over 137 votes in the two day poll but it was Cathy Erickson, director of marketing and events for Clear Channel Radio, who was chosen at random to take home the iPod Nano.

“I don’t think we were at all surprised by the winners,” said Todd Senne, president and co-owner of Trilix Marketing Group. “This year’s Super Bowl ads ran the gamut so there was a little something for everyone’s taste. Budweiser’s ad was not only clever, but brought attention to the brand in a unique way.”

This was the first year for the Trilix Super Poll, now expected to become an annual tradition for the marketing agency. The poll was previously run by Porter & Associates.
