Great Ape Trust of Iowa is a world-class research center dedicated to providing sanctuary and an honorable life for great apes, studying the intelligence of great apes, advancing conservation of great apes and providing unique educational experiences about great apes. Located in southeast Des Moines, Great Ape Trust is among the largest great ape facilities in North America and will be one of the first worldwide to include all four types of great ape: bonobos, chimpanzees, gorillas and orangutans.

Trilix has a unique challenge with Great Ape Trust in that, with the exception of small groups of VIPs, the general public cannot visit the facility. Trilix worked with The Trust’s staff to develop a fully immersive online experience to give the public an inside view at what goes on at the facility.
