Situation
Ninety days before Iowa’s first Las Vegas-inspired casino and resort opened its doors to the public, all it had was a logo. What it needed (and in a hurry) was a brand, broadcast advertising, print advertising, collateral materials, displays, hotel videos, restaurant and store signage, playing cards and chip designs — everything!
Solution
Thanks to efforts of Trilix and our partners (printers, photographers, film crews and others), when the doors to the casino opened in the summer of 2007 everything was in place. Trilix developed the brand “Live It Up!” to focus on the Riverside “experience” more than specific offerings. We also worked with Riverside to develop a musical identity, television campaign, extensive web presence, a complete direct marketing program and everything else under the sun (poker chips, restaurant menus, casino apparel, video displays and more — all within a 90-day window.
Results
Although Trilix is no longer working with the casino, the infrastructure developed for Riverside’s marketing communication program is still in place and internal staff continue to build on the simple message that sets Riverside Casino & Resort apart — LIVE IT UP!
