This year, marketers are looking at a new way to connect with consumers and drive Black Friday sales using social media. This week, multiple retailers have released information about their Black Friday specials on Facebook and Twitter.

Macy’s
If you “like” Macy’s on Facebook, you will get a preview of all of their goods on sale on Thursday online and on Black Friday in stores.
Target
This year Target is giving away one hundred $25 Target gift cards each day through Saturday, November 27. “Like” them on Facebook and find the details. You’ll also get a sneak peak at their Black Friday deals.
Best Buy
Best Buy’s Facebook page has special sales on their Facebook page. They are also hosting a “Black Friday Ad” event on their page, and by RSVP’ing you will see the deals before you can find them anywhere else.
If you want to stay in-the-know on Black Friday and all year long, there are multiple apps available that tell you where the best bargains are located. For example, Amazon.com launched a new iPhone app where you can compare prices. Many retailers are now offering text message deals, which makes it easier to get that discount on the spot without losing your coupon.
